Certification for Canada
This model is not yet certified for installation in Canada. Certification takes roughly three months and is started once there is confirmed demand for a model. Whether that affects you depends on the application: equipment used for inspection, rather than installed as plant wired to line voltage, is often outside the requirement. Ask and you will get a plain answer on your specific case.
Motors connect to line voltage, so CSA or cUL certification is required before installation in Ontario and the Electrical Safety Authority enforces it at the site. Status is confirmed per frame size and voltage before a quote is issued.
Certification is stated as it actually is. Where something is outstanding it says so, because an uncertified unit can be refused at installation no matter how well it performs, and finding that out on the day is expensive.

The regulation that adopts the Code in Ontario. Current edition adopts CSA C22.1:24 with Ontario Amendments, in force since 1 May 2025.
The approval rule itself. Equipment is approved when it bears a mark from a certification body accredited by the Standards Council of Canada.
ESA's own guidance on Rules 2-022 and 2-024. Lists the recognised certification marks, field evaluation marks and component marks, and includes a section specifically on devices supplied from Class 2 circuits.
The product safety regulation ESA administers. It applies to electrical products both before and after sale, not only at installation.
